One thing I think a lot of people want is a solution to allow members to favorite posts so we can display them to them on their activity pages in a loop or something in a sidebar. There was a plugin for that but it broke after updates so how about making this a core feature of buddypress. I see there already is something similar for activity updates but I would think having this for posts we be 10x more useful.

@enderpal444 Their is functionality for this going into BP Labs when BuddyPress 1.6 is released.

While it isn’t exactly ‘core’ and is a completely separate, unofficial project, it is maintained by @djpaul who is a BP core dev and it is known for being a testing ground of afew of the new features being introduced in buddypress 1.6 (eg. akismet activity spam filter)

Might be an idea to keep an eye on it.

@chrisclayton that looks really cool! Will there be an option to use it as a button if you dont use the admin bar? And will it allow a user to return a list of things that he liked on his activity pages? I used the old “favorite post” plugin to allow users to favorite video posts on my site. I could then show that loop of favorited videos on their activity pages which was dope until it broke.
