i want to know if there is an xml oder json api for buddypress?

e.g. one could implement to smartphones etc. with that.

Nothing like that yet. Some mobile plugin did try to implement its own xml layer but I believe that effort was not completed.

I had played with the json API plugin and it could be extended to work. Curious, why do you need this functionality?

Im working for new plugin (framework) for building web services ,this allows expose functionality of wordpress, buddypress or any other functions to other web sites and desktop applications. It is similar to the APIs provided by sites like Flickr and Twitter .
