    Can anyone recommend a decent plugin that will allow me to show a user’s photos from their ablum(s) etc on their profile page?

    This is relatively easy to do using BP-Album+. Just install the plugin (available here) then paste the “Global Media Page” action (documentation) into the user profiles template and set it to filter by the current user.
