it look like those use bp-sn-parent as parent theme, and buddypress 1.2+ does not have that anymore all the themes are child of the default theme. I tried adding the bp-sn-parent theme to my child theme but it block everything else, might be a compatibility issues. I don’t know much
Hi, I think you should copy those tags from the default theme css and paste on your own theme style.css, and modify from there.
I called them too they said they cant do it …. I am hoping there is another way to make it work without that file. I am going to try a new clean install see if it help or no.
yes I have yahoo host as well, same configuration as you. but yahoo won’t change it themselves and they don’t give us access, it is their rules. So if there is no other way around to fix this without the .htaccess file we cannot do nothing. I hope there is another way to solve this, let me know if you find anything.
I think it’s yahoo problem because we don’t have access to .htaccess file and they cannot change it for you …. I guess the choice now is either to change host or try to figure out something else
Thank you Boone, I am using standard WordPress installation WP 2.9.2.
I just did a reinstallation of the plugin deactivate other plugins because I read somewhere it might not be compatible with BP.
I change also the permanent link but I still cant access the page I get this error now “The page isn’t redirecting properly . the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete” .
Thanks again for helping

I check my log file and here is the error I am getting
“WordPress database error Table ‘members.wp_bp_user_blogs_blogmeta’ doesn’t exist for query SELECT * FROM wp_bp_user_blogs_blogmeta WHERE blog_id = 1 AND meta_key = ‘last_activity’ made by edit_post, wp_update_post, wp_insert_post, do_action, call_user_func_array, bp_blogs_record_post, bp_blogs_update_blogmeta “
