my server did not allow writing mode in the installation folder …

but still does not work … link broken

With the major changes between BP 1.2+ and BP 1.3 bleeding I see right now, could be some devs are waiting till after BP 1.3 stable to make “some time to work on it” 🙂

@andrea_r Hello. I installed wordpress 3.0.1 for my website, and but when I installed it on my second addon site, the images didn’t show. It told me that installation was a success, so I don’t know what happened. none of the images (including buttons) are showing. Please help.

  User has to register to the network first, then be added to the site. 😉

@andrea_r Is it possible to set up multisite as subdomains, and have a gloabal post? in other words, in the superadmin be able to post to all of the registered subdomains?

  use the plugin ThreeWP Broadcast it works great… just scroll down below where publish usually is and check off the subdomain blogs you want to post to.

  I think the Contributor level canot publish posts anyway – their posts are automatically set to draft.

@andrea_r can i ? . . . loaded question . . . on migrating 2.9 wpmu to straight wp 3.0.1, everything is peachy except the users – always fails when doing mysql import, seems there are more columns in one than the other for this table. Probably simple but the obvious eludes me. Searching several thousand other threads brought me to you Andrea.
