Thanks @r-a-y but it doesn’t seem to work. When I replace the function code in embedly.php with yours, I can’t seem to embed anything from the embedly list. It only displays the URL. I’ve tested this with a slideshare presentation.

Excellent. Count me in to test.

I only have only problem with the js functions I’m using. When you have posted, the counter that displays the remaining length doesn’t reset.

I’m using Embeddly now and it works fine when you refresh the page but it doesn’t work to automatically fetch the content when you post it as @r-a-y ‘s plugin is doing.

@msmalley – still getting those errors. Added the memory limit to wp-config.php

When activated and on the dashboard settings for Gpress it gives this error as well: These options are only available to super admins

You cannot post the first item on the activity stream to Facebook. It asks for the URL but all the other activity stream items gets the URL.

Edit: My mistake. There were special characters in the content that I tried to share and it didn’t seem to like that.

%%componentname%% doesn’t get the group name. I’ve change the group name component. Could that be the reason?
