Thank you so much for this awesome plugin! I’ve considered several WP registration processes and to me, none compare to the elegant solution of xProfile.

Just in case someone hasn’t tried this: After improving my mail configuration. For the better part of a week, I was trying to resolve why all WP emails were received, except “account activation”. These emails came back as: “Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender …smtp; 550 This message has been reported as spam by other users.” I knew that they hadn’t been reported, because I was sending them to myself, during testing. Due to my trial and error, it turned out that your “Reinstall emails” …was the perfect solution to this problem!

I realized today, that my problem is a result of the Kleo Theme.

Slava, the code that you posted above is the most elegant solution that I’ve seen for enhancing readability. I’m using it through the WordPress “Additional CSS” functionality. It works perfectly on the “Account Details” side on my registration page. However, I’d really love to do the same thing for the “Profile Details” side. I searched for several hours with no luck. Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated.

Thankfully, yes I have resolved it …at least for my situation. It appears that this began, when BuddyPress updated to most recent, v2.9.2. I asked SeventhQueen for help and they advised to check for any template overrides in my child theme folder. So, yes I do have a modified “register.php” BuddyPress file. I downloaded a backup of the file and also renamed the current one as “_old”. Then I carefully copied out my modifications. Then I imported the whole updated “register.php” and re-did the custom modifications. Hope this helps.

No sure if this was others’ experience, but for me the description duplication does not happen when tested with a WordPress theme. I just submitted a request to SeventhQueen regarding this, while using their “Kleo” theme.

I have also been experiencing this same problem for several months. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
