I actually do this with FeedBurner. I have a specific feed for the activity stream that is directly connected to a dedicated Twitter account via FeedBurner’s RSS. Works like a charm. @the_emf_dot_org

I’m very excited to try out the forthcoming version. Hopefully it will also address the website performance issues that some people have been experiencing. It’s such an important plugin!!!!

Peter – I just upgraded to 1.4 and tried deleting some tweets from the Activity Stream but they would always come back. Any ideas?

I guess you have a beef with plugins like Tweetstream? Why do you think it’s not worth it? I think it’s a great way of connecting disparate social networks.

OK! I’m looking forward to people’s feedback on it! Is it syncing well for you all? What about any website performance issues? Can you post to a group/forum and have it sync to Twitter?

Peter – We haven’t heard from you in some time! Do you have any idea when you are going to release an update? Do you no longer have time to work on Tweetstream? A lot of sites are now relying on the amazing work you started.

Peter – Any idea when you’ll be making available an updated version of Tweetstream? I had to turn my installation off b/c of the errors it was causing on my site. 🙁
