| WordPress Origin Story | Miles Davis! Back in February 2004, I was a ColdFusion developer coding a web based, point and click HTML page app and I needed a content editor function. Thus a bit of research, I found Ma.tt and his project WordPress. Off to the races, I dove in and consumed everything I could about the platform. What a cool tool! I immediately saw huge potential and just wanted to know more. I got involved with community, started building out WP sites, Founded the Boulder WP Meetup in August 2009, spoke at WordCamp and became more and more proficient in developing with WP and never looked back since. WP has helped me found the business I have today and I will always give back anyway I can. Love the platform, the community and the culture! |
