Is there a plug-in or easy way to print a post that appears in groups?

Has anyone tried the suggestion here? I did and it kept my sidebar fixed and the content area was still responsive. In other words if I decreased the size of my window the sidebar on the right constantly appeared and the content area on the left got smaller and responsive.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to remove all the responsive items from the theme?

I upgraded from 1.5. And yes I am using a bp-default child theme , but if I switch back to BP Default theme, I still have the same issue.

Since this was a new site, and I couldn’t resolve the issue above, I trashed and reinstalled wordpress and buddypress. Therefore, it’s all a new install and there are no plug-ins other than what came with wordpress. Still I’m having the same problem!!
