Thank you! Yes I know… but this one is not a real solution for my problem!
Using this PlugIn (during the registration) my users still have to fill out three mandatory fields (Full Name, First- and Last Name)… and this doesn’t make sense…

Hi guys!
Thank you all for your feedbacks.

No. I just want to disable the “Site-Wide” or “All Members” activity tab (the first one) from the Activity Page itself.
But I want to keep the rest, for example: the Group Activity, Friends Activity….

I figure it out by myself:
Modify the line #116 within bp-activity-classes.php
Change “a.hide_sitewide = 0” to “a.hide_sitewide = 1”

thanks, nice article! But this is not really what I’m looking for…
I just need to remove the Sitewide Activity (all members activity) under the main Activity page!

Any ideas!?

Thanks, now I’m able to select activity as start page. It was just necessary to create a “dummy” page… to bring this option up!

I know now what’s wrong on my side. I didn’t had any pages in my setup. After creating a “Test” page, I had the option to choose this one as the default start page.

But unfortunately this is not the solution I’m looking for.
I would like to set Activity as my start page, and this one can not be selected.

Any other idea!?

Sounds very easy. But I can’t find this under wp-admin.settings.reading
Any idea why!? I’m using WP 3.0.1 newest BP and MU enabled on WP
