Over the past few weeks, we’ve released three – count ’em, three! – beta versions of BuddyPress 1.5. During that time, we’ve gotten some great feedback, and some great patches, from our user and developer […]

Boone Gorges replied to the forum topic Q: working with $wpdb class and Buddypress 1.5 (custom SQL calls) in the group How-To and Troubleshooting 13 years, 2 months ago
The functions are not new – the whole point of a framework like BuddyPress, from the beginning, has been so that you *don’t* have to reinvent the wheel 🙂
I think that for your purposes you can use […]

That’s what
xprofile_set_field_data()

Boone Gorges replied to the forum topic Will this work with BB Press 2.0 in new BP 1.5? in the group BuddyPress Group Email Subscription 13 years, 2 months ago
bbPress 2.0 has some support for activity posting in BuddyPress, but those activity items are not associated with groups, and BPGES only deals with group activity. So, sadly, no.

Thanks for the link. I was able to produce this locally.
The problem appears to be that Safari does not like @font-face applied to the select element. Here’s what I had to do to make the problem go […]

Wow, this issue is getting weirder.
I have copied your theme but I can’t reproduce the problem. This could have to do with the fact that I don’t have the font files on my system. In any case, I have no idea […]
