Hi @boonebgorges, that sounds so great! It disappointed me, that it is so difficult to give group members the possibility to just write articles in a group. WordPress started as a Bloggingsystem, and the missing possibility to write articles in groups is for me like something is really missing there. Of course there is the groupblog […]

Sounds pretty good to me, and thanks @boonebgorges and @apeatling for dropping in. I’ve no problem with Andy parting with BuddyPress as the head developer, but as I emphasized, what I’m really missing is a more clearly defined direction. A distinct team isn’t necessarily key, but some essential initiatives have slowed down: – Known issues in…[Read more]

Thanks a lot for another quality plugin @boonebgorges I am using this in a project I’m working on at the moment. There are a couple of features that would really make me happy: – Rate only? (No review required) – Order/Sort Groups by Review/Rating? (Preferably this ties in with the ‘popular’ sorting feature) – Would it […]

@boonebgorges @boonebgorges I would like to do some testing for https://trac.buddypress.org/changeset/3403 but don’t know how to proceed. Can I simply download the diff files and replace them in the current buddypress1.2.7?

@boonebgorges I followed your suggestion, got the thing working! However, by my codes, I will have to write down each error for eah label color. Is there a way to run through all the erros and match it with label? Here’s what I’ve done so far: In the register.php, I test the signup name field by […]

@boonebgorges I meant the error messages on register.php.
If input is invalid, it adds a
<div class="error">...</div>
I don’t want to show the erro message. — this can be done by something like : .erro{ dispaly:none;} Then, If there’s any invalid input in this form, I want to add a line at the top of the […] -

Bingo! A straight copy/paste of the given example worked like a charm.
A bit of customization and voilà… I’m a happy camper!
Thanks 🙂

@boonebgorges thanks, I can try to work with CSS cross browser, but I’ll need to find the right class/div that doesn’t effect the blog posts – just a case of fiddling around a bit. I’m really interested to know if there is a way that users can embed images in posts without being presented with a […]

I don’t believe Giving WordPress its own directory works with BuddyPress showing up in the root when your WP is actually in the directory. Much like WP Multisite won’t work when you give WP its own directory. Calling on devs @DJPaul @boonebgorges @johnjamesjacoby. Is this a warning we should also add in Codex?

@boonebgorges I know this is a old thread, but it is exactly what I am looking for, but it is not working for me. I should say it is working, but I can’t get one parameter to work. I am using the bp_has_groups() to filter the groups loop and I need to only display certain groups […]

The feature is already in the BP trunk, so the easiest way to test is to check out the trunk on a local installation:
cd into your wp-content dir, then
`mkdir buddypress
svn co https://svn.buddypress.org/trunk buddypress`
You could try patching your 1.2.7 installation with the diff, though I doubt it will apply clearly.
