Hmm… appears the same thing is happening there.
I posted but got a Bad Gateway error. Tried to post again but it said I already posted but no visible post after a refresh. I tried again, no error but no post went through.

I’ve been successfully running BP and the forum plugin for several years now.
I did not add any new plugins but of course have been installing updates as they come up.

In my forum I can no longer read the original post in a topic. When clicking the link to view the topic it automatically loads the reply box if there are no existing replies, if others have replied all of those posts are visible. I’ve cleared my browser cache and cookies and also tried a different browser.

WP Version 4.6.1
Buddypress 2.7.0

I have spam plug ins working and that keeps the spam registrations to a minimum. I don’t see blog comment spam either as I have that all turned off. These are forum posts and definitely not blog posts.

yes I have commenting turned off

The only thing I found is under Activity Stream, maybe that’s letting it thru? I don’t have comment spam anywhere else on the site, just forum topics.

I don’t have too big of an issue with registration spam and I manually activate users. My issue is anonymous spam comments on my forum posts. All the plugins I see are for registration. Is there some way I can stop the spam on my forum?

How can I get rid of the gap below the menu tabs? I can’t figure out where the file is that I should be editing.

I finally got it!! I tried the google captcha and that messed my site up but made me realize I had bbpress captcha installed. So I deactivated the bbpress captcha and google captcha and registration works again! I realize you can’t have two captchas installed but I forgot about the other one.

I was able to access that but the only entry that was wrong was related to my iCopyright plugin.
I did find a place in my database where the tech failed to update the url so I corrected that. I’m really close to being functional now! The menu works again!!
