Have those users logged in to your site since you’ve installed BuddyPress? If they are new user accounts, they’ll need to have activated their account as well (they should have got an email with a link).

Group Forums still work fine. We’re using them on this very site, for example. I don’t have a date for 1.6 yet. Beta soon.

It’s not an easy problem. If you’ve got any good ideas, then we’re listening.

A vaguely related group invite issue was addressed in BP 1.5.4. I suggest you upgrade asap and see if the problem goes away.

I’m 110% certain the cause will not be BuddyPress, simply because we never remove any content from it. Further speculation is baseless at this point.

Did we link to the old URL somewhere? Do we need to change something? If it’s on the codex, anyone can go in and edit it.

That might be bp_search_form_type_select(). Check out that function; suggest you use the ‘bp_search_form_type_select_options’ filter.

If you referring to links in the activity stream, you need to edit them manually in the database. If you’re not, exactly what links are you talking about? BuddyPress has lots 🙂

Yes. BuddyPress URLs don’t follow the pattern that Posts do
