We don’t know what you’re talking about specifically — blog posts? activity stream posts? forum posts?

What are your permalinks set to?

Works for me. Have you tried re-saving the permalinks?

It’s not caused by the BuddyPress registration process, I can tell you that much 🙂

I think the wp.org plugins site has been having issues about updating itself the last few weeks. I’d not worry about it for now, I know people are looking at it.

Yeah, exactly. But I suggested a widget as that’s probably easier for most people to use rather than creating custom page templates.

Looks like run out of memory during install which is why the tables look like they weren’t created.

Did you upload BuddyPress by FTP? There is probably a corrupt file. Delete the plugin and, if you can, install BuddyPress via the “Add new plugin” page in your WordPress admin.

BuddyPress has a proper purpose; it lets you run your own social network. It’s not a forum. If you’re looking for a forum, then you don’t want BuddyPress.

If you’re having problem with a plugin, you are best to start by contacting that plugin author. In that case, whoever wrote the Ajax Chat plugin.
