I am beginning to suspect it may be broken with the current release, or another popular plugin breaks the way I replace the email text. I’m hoping to have some time, maybe this weekend, to work on it.

Assuming the missing user(s)’ accounts aren’t marked as spam, they probably need to log in before they appear in the BuddyPress lists.

Even if you take the “Network” setting out of the plugin’s main file, BuddyPress will not work only a bunch of separate sites on the same network. It’s not built to support that.

Oh, I don’t actually have a WPMUDEV account. You might need to test something for me. Out of interest, and if you know where to look, do you have a warning in your browser’s javascript console about “jq” when you try to click the buttons?

Is your site installed in a subdirectory?

Does /plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/* exist on the server?

The forum is a little quieter at weekends, and usually if you’ve got no response, it’s because people don’t know the answer.

Do the other links on your site work? e.g. member profiles, groups, and so on?

I’ve only just seen your message, sorry. As you’ve no doubt found out, Achievements doesn’t have a “suggested friends” list. However, if I get any time in the next few months, it’s an idea I want to build out in another plugin.

Let me know how this sort of thing works out.
