Thanks. Are the entries that have corrupted text from the group Forums? i.e. new forum posts or forum replies.

No upper limit, but you have a memory limit. Read this -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP <- and try setting it to 96Mb.

Have a look at or refer to https://codex.wordpress.org/AJAX_in_Plugins. I’d also suggest you do a find-in-files in BuddyPress for “wp_ajax_” to see how BuddyPress does it.

I’m not sure; maybe the upgrade didn’t work properly. Have you tied deleting the BP files and reinstalling them? You should be able to leave the database as-is.

Perhaps. The thing you need to do first is ensure that your WordPress installation is working 100%; that you can create, edit and delete blog posts, register new users and post comments to blog.
