Do non-BuddyPress specific emails get sent OK from your WordPress install? i.e. disable BuddyPress and get WordPress to send you a password reset email, or something.

If you can’t get into wp-admin, rename wp-content/plugins/ folder on your server then try to access wp-admin. This will deactivate all the plugins.

White page usually means a PHP error. What’s in your web server error log?

BP 1.2.3 does provide is_site_admin() in the compat file, FWIW.

Not bp_profile_fields; function bp_has_profile() does if that’s any use? It only takes user_id and profile_group_id.

Try putting this in your theme’s functions.php

remove_filter( ‘bp_get_group_description_excerpt’, ‘wpautop’ );

Anything in your web server error log?

Header already sent means some text is being sent by the server before the ‘header’ part of the HTTP request; check if you’ve got any white space or empty lines above or below php tags in the files you’ve edited.

@scotm what are you doing on your BP site with the admin user to generate activity which you don’t want in the activity stream?

@nuprn1 did you do a plugin to hide the admin account from the members directory, or was that someone else?

For that to work as intended, you also need to set WP_LANG in your wp-config.php and load a nBb_NO translation for WordPress.
