Thank you, @DJPaul
I will change the plugin’s script I use as you suggested and will open it on my site for Japanese users.
Hopefully, the next-version plugin will have this correction. -

Edit// too slow sorry I should have run comparisons earlier. @DJPaul it might be worth a check, might also be me worrying , but wasn’t sure where this add_action should occur. I note 7 files in bp-default with 8 occurrences in 1.2.6 and the same for trunk in my local checkouts so think all is ok […]

@DJPaul Paul is it my imagination or do a lot of files seem to be missing add_action(template_notices) or be using an older implementation?

The way in which you check to make sure BuddyPress is installed and activated has changed over time. As @djpaul indicates, the proper way is to use a mypluginname_loader.php file and hook into the bp_include event: https://codex.buddypress.org/extending-buddypress/checking-buddypress-is-active/ The BuddyPress Skeleton Component is woefully out of…[Read more]

@djpaul I had to update all my child themes with the 1.2.6 release so I’m not seeing why worrying about designers or child themes is the issue. Trust me, they want more enhanced features, so do end users. The issue is not adding things and having to update it’s giving designers a heads up and that’s […]

@djpaul here’s what I got so far. I think a couple of these styles are redundant or could be redone with less code. I didn’t mess with the original nav css, that code might be able to be integrated into the drop menu’s css. /* Menu ————————————————————– */ ul#nav li.selected:hover > a, ul#nav…[Read more]

@DJPaul what are you after Paul? I think everyone might be a little lost as to what actually needs doing? is it just the styles that need sorting, As for my earlier question regarding changes to nav menus for 3.1 and as much as it may be irrelevant? I managed to track down a ticket correcting […]
