@hnla yes I have it set up that way – users to register and create new blogs

@DJPaul @DJPaul. Howdy Paul. I’d like to add a form to allow members to post under each other member’s profile like the form I’m using to post this under your profile. Is there a tutorial on how to do it? Thanks in advance!

  It’s a matter of editing the template files, and then hooking up your behind-the-scenes code. Do you mean you just want to add another text box or another “Tab” on a person’s profile page?

    Actually only the text box (post-form) under each profile so people can post directly to each other’s profile. Exactly the same as in buddypress.org . I mean it’s the same as using the mention @user… but actually a bit different since posts will be listed in the activity of the profile to which the post is being posted and also @user…[Read more]

@DJPaul Hey Paul, are you or any of the other moderators aware of the amount of spammers coming onto the site? Eg: https://buddypress.org/community/members/cynthiakiss/ & https://buddypress.org/community/members/tosybaby/ . Its getting pretty annoying. Anything we can do about it?

  We’re tied up with the wordpress.org user database, so we get spam signups from there as well. At the moment, short of letting one of the moderators like me know — and we just pass the message on to @johnjamesjacoby — I don’t have a magical hammer

@djpaul: this problem arises regardless of whether i’m using a default theme or a modified theme with the buddypress template pack. is there a trick i could use to identify the source of the problem… perhaps a tool to troubleshoot javascript performance with buddypress activated?

1- The achievements will have a “tab” in the profile?
2- The points for the achievement could be used with e-commerce or something like that?
