Not to hijack, but I saw this and thought someone might have some suggestions for adding profile updates to the activity feed. (I’ve got custom fields, and want a notification to show up in the feed, when updated).

I can get the plugin to activate without throwing an error by changing line 49 :
bp_core_new_subnav_item( $bp->friends->slug , __(‘InviteFriends’), __(‘Invite Friends’),
but I’m having a bugger of a time with the rest.

OK, here’s a fun one – who want’s to tackle it:
I want to replace the favorite link with a grey-ed out star, and when they favorite a post, the star turns gold. Extra points if you do it using hooks.
I’m not great with CSS, and am having a heck of a time! -

I’d like to know how to do this, too. It’s pretty easy to do a password reset, and one less form to fill out is one less barrier to entry.

Does anyone know the files used in creating “the feed”? I’m trying to modify the order of items presented in the activity stream, and am not having much luck. I’ve found some items in entry.php, but the others are giving me trouble.

great plugin! I wanted to know if there was any movement on the Plaxo plugin integration. IMHO, this is the biggest, fastest way to grow your community, and spread things virally, by having members invite friends and so forth.
