Please try upgrading to the newest version of the theme, which you can download at buddyboss.com. If you have an old version (from a week or two ago) there was a bug with this exact issue.

You’ll still have the problem that the dropdown for the “Visit” menu at the upper right doesn’t have room, because the dropdown incorrectly aligns to the right side of the screen. Just scoot it over a bit to the left to make room…

Using this will completely fix the admin-bar in IE6, even when using fluid width.
body {
position: relative;
}
* html #wp-admin-bar {
position: absolute;
}
* html #wp-admin-bar .padder {
width: 100% !important;

Is there any way to display a list of the users who have the most followers? Perhaps a sort filter on the Members Directory, with a sort option such as “Most followed”.

@orenshmu We tested the plugin out and came to the same conclusion. It has no BuddyPress integration. It’s just a WordPress plugin and really doesn’t belong in the BP plugins directory. We tested the plugin and wrote up our review here if people are interested: http://www.buddyboss.com/buddypress-plugin-review-post-videos-and-photo-galleries/

I think €100 is well worth it for a good plugin. If the plugin means I can save a lot of time and get the results I need immediately, then yeah I’ll happily pay. My time and frustration are worth money too. If he spends 20 hours developing a plugin and I buy it for […]

Michael Eisenwasser posted on the forum topic How to make pages like Groups, Forums, members and updates only accessible to members? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 14 years, 3 months ago
Here’s what you do: Install s2member, and then in s2member settings go to General Options > URI Access Restrictions. If you add /groups/ as a URI fragment, all URLs with /groups/ will be restricted to logged in users. If you add /groups/create/ then anyone can see groups but only logged in users can create new […]

Alright sounds good. BuddyPress might be the way to go for you, or maybe all you’d need is a forum (check out BBPress).

That’s fantastic news! I can’t wait.
I have it working in BP1.5.2 + WP3.0. However I cannot do a keyword search while also filtering by fields. it’s one search or the other. Does anyone know how to set that up correctly?

I have it installed and it’s working properly in the admin and showing up on the site. However when I narrow down the search by selecting profile fields it always says “Sorry, no members were found.” No matter what combination of items I select it always says this and never shows anyone.
Any ideas? I’d love to get this working.
I’m using a…[Read more]

@ankka Sounds good. If you can work your way around WordPress you can probably figure out how to install BuddyPress. If you need help with theming the site and such, just let me know.

I had a though to add into my site a directory system. Something similar you created in your site for jobs offers for workers. But in my case it will be for matchmaking instead. Still researching making plans and playing with a couple of themes for now.

@ankka Hi Anna,
Do you need someone to work on installing BuddyPress for you? I own a web design company (www.clusterig.com) and one of our specialties is BuddyPress sites. A big BuddyPress site we worked on (and own) is easyoutsource.com.

@eisenwasser – Thank you Michael. I think I can install BuddyPress easy, but I maybe will need some help with a html art work later on, so I am keeping you on my mind. Ta

I would be willing to contribute to it. @Paul Gibbs I would consider paying you to build it for easyoutsource.com, and we could package it and release it to the community as a plugin. We’d like to be able to filter members by rate, availability, etc., and we’d like to be able to perform boolean searches […]
