WordPress 5.1.1; BuddyPress 4.3.0

I migrated an existing site to multisite. Now the following Dashboard entries are not shown: Activity, Groups. I can live without Activity, but I need Groups in order to add users to the correct groups. How do I get the Dashboard item back? Alternatively, how do I add people to a Group without the Dashboard item?

I’ve been testing the get_post() option and the overal number of queries stay the same in the debug bar.

I too was a big supporter of those plugins. Thankfully, I was able to convince someone to revive at least one of them. This might work for at least the photo part of your problem.
