I started fiddling with Content Management Systems probably around 2005-2006, trying out a bunch of them including WordPress, Joomla and especially Drupal, which I used for a while mainly because, you know, those were still the days where WP was considered “just a blogging platform”, not a full-fledged CMS… but then things rapidly changed, especially with the release of WordPress 3.0, and I discovered its true potential, its huge community and the impressive amount of quality plugins and themes. From there, it’s been an enjoyable one-way ride in the open source world.
