| WordPress Origin Story | I started building sites in 1993, so I usually did from scratch or with a framework. When I saw WordPress for the first time in 2006, my impression was that if I used it I was cheating. Now, I think 100 times before not using WordPress for a new project. The feeling I have is that I am “standing on the shoulders of giants” when I start a new project. The learning curve (as developer) is not easy, it takes time and dedication, I am still learning and read everything I can related to the development aspects. I try to go to as many WordCamps and meetups as possible. |
