Back in the 90’s while at Uni, during days of straight HTML websites, I coded a few to help friends get on this new thing called the information superhighway. Domains cost hundreds of pounds and the websites looked like I had drawn them by hand with a rule. This blog software arrived called cafelog that made it easy to publish updated content. That became WordPress and with version 1.2 introducing plugins almost every website I’ve built since has used it. I may have dabbled in Umbraco, Drupal, MODx and some others (guilty smile, I’m lookin’ at you Joomla) but it’s WordPress all the way for me.
