| WordPress Origin Story | In the early 2000s, shortly after b2 was forked, I began using WordPress. At that time, it was uncommon to manage your own content or give clients the ability to edit their website content. This is why I embarked on my WordPress journey – I wanted to demonstrate to clients and others that it was possible to manage their own content on the web using WordPress as a publishing platform. Although things have changed significantly since then, I remain just as passionate about creating things for WordPress and with WordPress as I did when I first started this journey. I build my own themes and plugins and co-founded the WordPress users group and meetup in Cheltenham, UK. |
