hi @imath – unfortunately due to deadlines i won’t be able to try this out. sounds like @alice-claire has tried it tho.
we’ll just have to go it without buddypress for now.
thanks tho! 🙂
hi @imath.. ok sure no problem. happy to help. should i upgrade to the new BP release first? (i had downgraded to get it working again.)
🙂
OK @imath ….Thank you. 🙂
@imath ah ok. Makes sense. Thanks for informing invite anyone dev.
Will this thread be updated with a fix for the other issue for settings saving register/activate pages?
I appreciate your time, work and quick responses. 🙂
Gina
Hello,
Yes I had already tried changing theme and deactivating all plugins before I posted.
But.. I see you’ve reproduced. 🙂
I also noticed (after I downgraded to previous version) that even with registration disabled I was able to load register page. Then I upgraded BP again and it was still a case.
Thank you for your help,
GinaI went back to Version 2.1.1 and it works now. I guess I will keep an eye on this fix and upgrade once it is fixed.
Thanks. 🙂
Weird! That does work! Thanks Rhoward!! I switched settings to “Both sites and user accounts can be registered.” and it will save the settings. But if I change back to “Logged in users may register new sites.” the settings are no longer saved. :/
BP Version 2.2.0
Thank you SO much for the quick response..
