@firetag I’m just reading that you are gone wait with the release from your plugin until the new BP. Could you please share how you create the types without an plugin. i’m looking at the group meta at this moment could you point me in the right direction

@firetag Looking forward to your plugin to categorize groups. I need it to create the following Fan groups (Normal groups) and sport club (All group functions but another page and name) is this possible

@firetag Actually, I have a few sites I’m working on that could use your plugin for additional group types, and they are all in the development stages. One client is considering using Buddypress AND an extended version of aBusiness Directory plugin, and it looked like a better solution might be to use your plugin with the inherent group…[Read more]

@firetag hey firetag, I just stumbled upon a forum post where you said you had developed an additional group type with its own directory… this is EXACTLY what one of my clients needs… any updates on putting it into a plugin? Could we possibly hire you to make it happen sooner? : )

yeah i have it running .. but it requires theme edits and all kinds of hacks… there are lots of other developing the same thing… maybe they have better solutions…it would require a few core changes to make it so there are no theme edits… there are still a few major bugs with current code so I need to clean it up a little bit before i…[Read more]

Private so the activity doesn’t show in the stream (but it does show in the group) yet public so folks don’t need to be invited to join.
