| About Me | Francesca is the Director of Engineering at XWP. She co-led the release of WordPress.org 5.3, 5.4, and 6.2. She served as the Core Team global representative and previously as the Community Team rep. One of the things she is most proud of is the blog she founded in 2013, C+B. With an editorial staff of more than eighty authors, C+B has helped thousands of Italian creative female entrepreneurs find their path throughout the years. | WordPress Origin Story | It all started with a 2 years old boy and some pics that I wanted to show to his grandparents who lived abroad. I opened a blog on WordPress.com and I fell in love with the platform: I took an e-course, moved to WordPress.org, and asked around if someone wanted a website so I could test WP functionality. |
