– What’s the difference between your problematic installation and your working installs?
– Have you checked whether you have remaining code/script in bp-custom.php or mu-plugins folder?
– Is that a new/old install on standard WP or WP multisite? Are you developing locally or on webhost?

@ghostpool I cannot recreate the issue of missing buddypress.js file using Twenty Fourteen on latest WP and BP. Have you tried re-uploading/re-installing BuddyPress? If you did, please give environment or steps to recreate your issue.
