Thanks, but that doesn’t look to have any reference to the URL string, and is a filter function. We are looking to change the URL string for
{{{mentioned.url}}}for all email templates. -

Does not look like you’re using a BuddyPress compatible theme. The default TwentyTen theme is not BP compatible, out of the box. The WPMU dev premium plug works … but, as near as I can figure, not better than other methods I’m trying.
Not sure how to get the discussion consolidated; that is, don’t know that a new group would get more going. (On my own site, I have email notification turned on; wish that were an option here — but will subscribe to RSS!)
