I would like to know how to implement bp functions in sidebar widget. Let say the author page where users can add the author as their friend or follow them. Its something like twitter sidebar where you can see how many friends and follows they have so far. Anyone?

Hi, anyone used this is normal WP3? I’ve used in WPMU3.0 and no problem. Once activated with API key, can’t enter the profile page. Hope to get this fixed. Also the same error for facestream.

I’ve noticed, once you’ve enabled BP_ENABLE_ROOT_PROFILES functions, tweetstream breaks in the activity stream. The avatar points to the correct one, but the name still showing /members/ slug. If I’m using default buddypress theme, which functions.php do i use? Is it from /public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/functions.php?

@PeterHofman What i mean what youtube video that was posted in facebook. Currently its displaying as image, but when you click it will open in youtube. I wish the youtube video open in lighbox same like photo 🙂

@r-a-y Plugin IDEA : Using buddypress as email client. If your profile is http://www.domainame.com/yourname, then your email is yourname@domainame.com. Similiar to Private Message, but as email. Will be very cool!

  I don’t recommend using both the BP Followers plugin and the friends component together. It’s bad from a usability perspective, which is why I released separate PM plugins.
