@gus-f2c Hi — can you give me a few details about what is happening? As such it shouldn’t be messing with widget areas at all; only adding a few more widgets which you can enable/disable.

I am using the latest versions of WP and BP, and a themefrom WPMU Dev called Buddy Corporate. It only knocks out the widget on one page which is the Profile Page. Although, and not sure whether its just me, but appear to have lost the ability to edit the event from the front end and invite users to the event.
hmm, are you logged in with the right capabilities? Worst case, try deactivating and reactivating the plugin.
