check the counter under users. If you can resend one via the admin function, it is not a hosting issue it is a bp bug.

Also if all the notices about new message and other notifications are being received by user it is not a hosting issue, it is a bp bug.

I have a full bbpress working environment which is grate and managed under secure and wp user accounts.

The new site I saw bp aka buddypress and it seem to meet the needs for what I am doing.
Profile are exclusive to each group for editing. this is option in profiles.

if they got an email it has the key. You can look in the database to see if the signup has assigned one.

Under User you can resend them the activation key. currently there is no user side resend option, it requires admin access to do the resend.

I use a request form as a work around to for resend requests.

having same issue, I know what your seen. I login and some links work clear cache and all is good. login again or new user and they links keep going back to register page.

Have you found a solution.
I have not installed any 3rd part cache for WP either.
