Fix is simply that

bp_format_time(get_date_from_gmt(

should have been changed but likely missed to:

bp_core_current_time(get_date_from_gmt(

Thinking the issue lies with:

/messages/messages-loop.php

bp_message_thread_last_post_date()

function lives in:
/buddypress/bp-messages/bp-messages-templatetags.php: line 288

would guess at the filter

bp_format_time(get_date_from_gmt(

is possibly to blame but will have to see if the ticket sheds light on it

trying to track down bp_core_current_time() my batch find locates references to it but I can’t find actual parent function

Not looking good having set my local time correctly and WP settings showing UTC and my local time messaging time stamps have now jumped ahead of my local time by 1 hour

checking and on the dev install I was working on I hadn’t set local time in WP settings

it’s displaying utc time by the looks of things at least my time stamp is an hour behind our present utc +1

It should be in the theme not in core files but it needs to load at ‘init’ ? or does it? is it that it must load before theme loads

Please check over yesterdays threads as this issue has been covered in two threads and you’ll find the answers there. t’s not a bug but you will need to make some changes to your child theme files.

I really hope you’re wrong about that as this ongoing issue was meant to have been corrected once and for all in 1.2.6. 🙁

Ok quick test the rss feed link on my activity page 1.2.5.2 / 1.2.6 is being messed around with by JS as long as I disable JS in browser the link directs correctly, but not going to look into why at this hour

You need to address this to the author of the theme.

Better that individuals don’t just pile in to trac adding enhancement tickets wily nily for this sort of area. We need a task group set up to tackle this that looks at what is required, and draws up a list of things to tackle, template tags that are needed etc.

20mb is far to low – try 64 or 96 or as high as you can provide but not so high that you allocate all your available system memory if a script does misbehave as that will result in the OS crashing
