Firstly you do not need to delete/re-install BP every time, if you are having issues with white screen and you reckon that is BP having the issue then simply re-name the BP plugin folder which will force deactivate the plugin and allow you back in.

We can’t go in and start editing files/templates as that starts to become a paid service I’m afraid.

Go and get setup on a proper host, install WP / BP use a standard WP theme to check all works correctly then start to add your plugins then your chosen theme. If you still have issues post back and we’ll help out.

It could be but you simply outline a general concept you would need to flrsh out the detail then probably be looking around for a developer or development team to build any custom functionality required.

As per your other topic here on BP this is a theme related issue and in both cases related to bbP forums these are not really BP issues and this one is rather general theme styling. You need to compare a page / screen working to one that isn’t and track down what is different using a web dev inspection tool found in Firefox(firebug) or Chrome browsers

Marking as resolved then but for future reference remember that bbP is not BP there is a dedicated bbP support forum and docs.

You’ll probably find it easiest to use something like S2 Member to provide user access roles, but you’ll still need a few functions that run args to filter out s2_member_level0 ids from the BP members & activity loops and something to prevent access to user account screens.

Not the pages, they don’t really exist as WP pages, BP just uses the file / physical template for it’s structure so when BP pushes it’s date out it sits within the theme in use. It doesn’t WP comments are tied to the post or page against which they were made, the issue will be that you do not have multiple pages for members but url request which determines the data then pushes that out to the general page.php template , it’s probably possible to do but would require a fair bit of custom coding.

Define exactly what you call a member page, terminology is critical as what you’re asking doesn’t sound like it makes sense.

The read more link is rendered but having looked at things I think there may be an issue with the way the filter for activity truncation is running.

Given a large body of $text it’s truncated by default to 358 characters and the helipps ‘…’ appended sans link.
