Nope doesn’t appear to be the ability to mark a user as spammer in single WP 3.0, love to know why, what’s the difference still a registered user, shouldn’t matter a jot whether blogs are enabled or not. It feels as though WP single is a poor cousin to WP MS

There is a plugin by Rich. have a scroll through the plugins under the ‘extend’ tab if you can’t find it post back and I’ll hunt it down for you.

I have just had a request that ‘Group’ be changed to ‘Channels’ for an upcoming job, I immediately thought of this thread and *sighed* and yes I fail to see how po files are the right way of dealing with this sort of thing other than at least you are simply trawling through one file.

@markhahnel I’ve edited your earlier post to show the code.

To add a link tag open header.php and look for other link tags in the <head> section to the top of the file.

Yes those are the changes and you need them made to any of the files that ordinarily live in /bp-default/ but in this instance will reside in your theme folder.

Hope he doesn’t say that. I’ve no love for them but the whole nature of the GPL as applied to projects is a contentious and far from clear area, and debates rumble on for ever and a day over the letter of the license.

I have to admit defeat here ‘my blogs’ will not show anything other than ‘create blog’ been through every setting repeatedly in different combinations.

Tried both figuring there was likely a difference, seemingly same results, I’m going to have to look deeper before commenting further and discount any gross ignorance on the part of the operator – me 😉

Yep realise needs to be network mode and most of my test installs are, but that also raises another issue which I left a ticket on ‘ lack of link to dashboard with single blog install’

No I get no drop down at all and the top level link ‘My Blog’ is not an active link, checking the DOM shows an empty child UL. It’s an odd one, if you say it works for you on same setup there’s probably something I’ve overlooked and I’ll investigate further.

@r-a-y your patch for this issue ticket#2431 was intended to correct the issue of a user elevated to ‘contributor’ or similar supposedly then having links under ‘My-Blogs’ ? Ah, so that suggests that the issue was patched and committed for 1.2.5, do the blog links appear on the adminbar? I’ll have to test this as haven’t run across this set of circumstances.

Oh I see doesn’t sound good, didn’t think those cables ‘broke’ all armored sheathing and buried under the seabed?? it’s bizarre in this day and age that major countries and cities such as SA should not have the same connectivity the rest of the world seems used to.
