Sounds as though there is an error in your rules within the .htaccess file, any small error in syntax can cause server error.

Notepad++ should be able to save files without a name, but as long as you have the file uploaded you should be able to download, modify in notepad++ and re-upload without issues.

@pjnu it’s a simple edit plus a few additional steps once the menu items have been activated for the dashboard by the config change. If you already have a WPMU setup WP 3.0 detects that and you shouldn’t have to go through the MS setup procedure.

Think the correction will be in 1.2.5 but don’t quote me on that check the ticket where you will also be able to copy the modified code and update your files in advance if necessary.

Don’t leave others in the dark that may be having the same issue, it helps if you can just briefly summarize how you eventually got things corrected. Were there still bp plugins hanging around in plugins folder? did you rename the whole plugins folder?

Not sure , in what way? why do you ask about these specific files? what has prompted the question? error messages?

I think that was my ticket. yes you can change the name in the BP table which is the route I had to take, not something I want to have to do on a regular basis though.

Thought you might have deleted the actual WP install, but it appears to still be there, what happens when/if you try and login at /wp-admin/ white screen again?
