Wont help and might be obvious but the absolutely vital and most urgent issue to tackle when a server is compromised is that you MUST identify the means of exploit, work out just how this has happened and close that vulnerability – start trawling through your log files for starters. To be able to inject […]

My great worry these days is that the dev community is being compelled to fix problems with usability of core BP, as much or more so than extending whatβs there.)
And which is one of my concerns too, and is evident in many posts on this site with developers rushing out fixes to usernames for example […]

Skip over the comment that mentions s2member and look for r-a-y’s comment about register-member 2 and further down I show some basic mods to that single page plugin that allows you to select pages that will redirect or not.

php.ini is a global conf file for php. If you are running your own server you need to locate the file and open in a text editor and find the right line and adjust from 32 to 64. If you are on a shared host then you might get away with adding a line to […]

Sounds as though your PHP script memory limit is too low iirc 16mb is default, 32mb the value I always change it to and the guys here tend to recommend setting it to 64mb. This is changed in php.ini if you have no access to the global settings for PHP on the server then you […]

hnla posted on the forum topic XHTML validator fail (just 1 error) in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 16 years ago
Markup validation or malformed markup does not really correlate to lack of security. Whereas WP strove to produce valid markup that would pass validation against DTD schemas there was always a fundamental flaw to maintaining that valid code which is third party coding i.e plugins, sadly when you allow third parties to introduce code/markup to […]

Code tags work but they are producing malformed markup which will need sorting and they’re breaking lines with br tags for some reason, but at least they are using a monospaced font.

@r-a-y thanks, that’s the one. Obvious as soon as I saw it written π that allows all top level pages to be viewed but doesn’t allow to further drill down.

One is the original cubepoints configuration settings and need to be worked on first, points there are for blog posting and commenting – important bear in mind that cubepoints was primarilly written for single WP and will not work on sub blogs on a WPMU install only on the prime blog BP is installed to […]

And… I see no mention of the actual cubepoints plugin? cubepoints-buddypress-integration is simply an extension to the original plugin to enable BP support.
From the guide on the groups page:
IMPORTANT You will need to install CubePoints (at least version 2.1.1) first.

hnla posted on the forum topic How to install buddypress in the group Installing BuddyPress: 16 years ago
A start would be to follow the installation guides!
What have you tried thus far?
Buddypress is as simple as downloading the plugin to your plugin directory and in the dashboard enabling the plugin. You can download the plugin from within WP!
