About Me | I’m a freelance WordPress chap. Who has bouts of physical fitness followed by marathon biscuit eating sessions. When not dipping chocolate digestives in tea or hand-fisting Doritos, you may see me cycling, or even running. I like to make music. My claim to fame is that Paul Weller played guitar on one of my songs. I am currently recording my first album, which will probably be mind blowing and ignite world peace. I like to do a bit of attention seeking in my garden, otherwise known as Tai Chi. I have a cat named after WordPress 3.1; Django. WordPress 3.1 would’ve been a stupid name for a cat. |

WordPress Origin Story | I moved from Blogger to WordPress in 2005. I used WordPress to keep my business in business, and I think it’s the business. 😉 My first WordCamp was in 2009, which was a good start; with both founder’s in the same room! I have been to several WordCamps since. I did a WordCamp retreat in 2013 and my first contributor day in 2015. I am now on the WordPress Accessibility team but haven’t done much yet apart from learn from some very wise, nice and inclusive people. I am the founder of the WordPress Bournemouth meet up group. |
