Thanks @imjscn , but I get the same result using the Like plugin. It uses the same table so the only value I changed was the meta_value, to “liked_count”. I get ALL the activity items returned, ordered chronologically, like before. Anyone out there want to give it a shot and post the code here? Or write […]

@imjscn—It is possible (I think) though you will need to do a lot of work to ensure that the comments are saved properly, the globals are set correctly, etc. Are you sure you want to add comments to cp types in BP? I have plans to modify the activity area to allow custom activity posts on Post types—perhaps you could try something like that?

@imjscn I think the beauty is that there is no wrong way of going about it. Since I use MU, I don’t need CPT since the entire subsite is dedicated to the q/a. This keeps search separate from of different content types also keeps wp-admin only dedicated to q/a. I can only imagine when you do […]

@imjscn I read your post about the # sign on the links when dealing with the sliding login panel. Where exactly did you put “javascript:void(0)” to solve your problem?

Thanks @imjscn
I am not adding any assignment-specific achievements (or post-specific achievements, etc). It is something I hope to support in 2.1 release of achievements (still some time away).Any actions would need to be more generic; i.e. grade/complete any assignment.

@DJPaul – I agree with @imjscn that Student Achievements should be triggered when students’ assignments are graded, and that this should be by group in the same way that the achievements for joining particular groups are already set up ( e.g –> Student joins Group –> Student Responds to Assignment –> Teacher Grades Assignment ). There should…

@imjscn you’re absolutely right, “adding something like gravity forms” plugin will be needed for frontend posting by users. although it is a premium plugin, you can also find some free front-end posting plugins that may work. sorry i didn’t clarify that important detail. with frontend posting plugin all your registered members can make posts, er,…[Read more]

Sorry, only just seen this. Basically, I could add it (and might next weekend) but I don’t really *understand* what the most important features are in Courseware. Stas has provided good documentation to me, but as I don’t use Courseware, I’m not sure what the “triggers” for achievements should be. @imjscn If you let me know […]

@imjscn, I got it now.
In a nutshell you want every student to have some kind of “Vimeo save for later” option for courses/asignments/bibliography. And that can be called a TODO list. Same for teacher, but the difference is that his “queue” will be public and students could subscribe/add items from it.
Right? -

@imjscn, could you write it down in details so I can open an issue and get back to it when I get some time (it is still a bit unclear for me :|)?
Thanks. -

@imjscn: that looks great. I would actually be using a custom combine script, that I would place outside of the Wp functions. ie hard code the combine in either header or footer. I assume then that I would only need to deregister css and js, and not do the enqueue bit. Is this right? if so, […]

I have WP installed – but not multisite. I also have BP activated.
WP is installed on http://www.domain.com/wordpress/
The page I want to have the form on is http://www.domain.com/test.html or test.php
What do you mean with “Not sure what’s the cache on your site”?

When pasting it on a test.php page I get this error again:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /home/domain/public_html/test.php on line 26
On a test.html I get some kind of login form like this: http://uploadpic.org/v.php?img=ePvXqheqAQ

Just to be clear I dont want the login form on a wordpress/bp page but on my own site.
Hope you can help

@imjscn So to round of the thread Jenny (just in case you were still wondering) you simply need to create the directory ‘languages’ in wp-content WordPress looks for this and defines it if not set otherwise, Buddypress now mirrors that process and also will check for the languages folder in wp-content but you must be running […]
