If yes, then how to turn off that anyone can come and reply to posts and contact with group owner?

Hi, is it possible today to create in an existing group a hierarchy or subgroups? Eg, schools have different classes for students. 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B etc. I saw one plugin but its outdated.
