I’ve not seen a plugin that can do specifically what you need, but try searching the WordPress Plugin Directory for something similar and then perhaps try modifying it to your needs.

@irenehofer Any luck with, Irene? I am attempting to do something similar – create two groups for a site.

Each group would have a different set of profile fields and different permissions within site.
