| WordPress Origin Story | My journey with WordPress began in 2011, driven by sheer curiosity. Faced with the need for a specific design for which no theme existed at the time, I decided to forge my own path and create one. This initial dive into theming subsequently ignited my passion for plugin development, marking the beginning of my expedition into the realm of WordPress plugin and theme creation. To date, I’ve crafted over 200 plugins and around 50 themes. While most were designed for my clientele on the Envato marketplace, I’ve also proudly published a selection of plugins on wordpress.org. However, my commitment to WordPress isn’t solely tethered to development. I’ve imparted my knowledge and expertise through lectures, participating in local WordPress meetups, and offering private courses for WordPress beginners. This journey hasn’t merely been about technical growth but also about community, learning, sharing, and evolving alongside a platform that is in perpetual flux and advancement. |
