BuddyPress.org

I first started using WordPress on my personal site back in 2004. While I loved the platform, I wanted it to do things it did not provide out of the box. As a software developer, I quickly figured out the plugin system and started writing my own extensions, then distributing them to the community. I have have 8 plugins available on wordpress.org and wrote a book on plugin development, recently updated as a second edition.
