@jeffsayre Hi Jeff. Is there a way to limit the size of the members inboxes according to role? I’d like to have 50 messages max for contributors and f.ex. 1000 messages for authors on a site I’m working on. Maybe it’s part of the Privacy Component you’re working on?

@jeffsayre – thanks for the link (I missed the codex article in my search). This is a new client who already had the 1.0.3 site.

Fortunately, the client wants us to develop a new theme from scratch – so, our only core issue is ensuring the member profiles, connections and data (including blogs) are preserved.

Updated to BP 1.2.5 without deactivating plugins on a few sites (not recommended I know) but had no issues.

Have you tried @jeffsayre‘s Hook Sniffer to see if your hooks aren’t being recognized in the right order? Last time I had a problem like this, Hook Sniffer solved it in five minutes. https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-hook-sniffer/
