Yes, don’t use page caching with BuddyPress.
@jmarino I have no problem with W3TC’s CDN on BudddyPress.

@jmarino; We saw ‘unexpected results’ when using a page cache with BuddyPress. As BP is generating new content with each post and response, page caching appears to make a dog’s breakfast of things. 🙂

Based on your first post, I did not understand that as your goal. But you are correct in stating that if you want to change more than just the name of the slug, then you have no other choice but to create a custom language file.

@jmarino; If all else fails, you can just pull the plugin folder. WP and BP are neat that way, as they just report that the plugin is gone and deactivated when you go to the plugins page again. (Other systems we’ve tried freeze and die totally, which is no fun).

@jmarino – OK. I keep my php_value numbers at 128M – and some of them are actually at 256M – but I have no idea why they are this high unless it was just some tinkering at one point. But give it a higher number in the .htaccess
