| WordPress Origin Story | I got started with WordPress in 2005 when building Flash websites for clients, and wanted to provide them with a dashboard where they could log-in and edit their content. In 2008 I stopped using Flash as a front-end and went full-in on WordPress, developing themes and plugins. I started a theme shop called “Mint Themes”, and in doing so, eventually found my way into e-commerce. I built a plugin called “All Access” for Easy Digital Downloads, which was acquired in 2017, and found my way back to working with themes at WP Engine with Genesis in 2020. I am passionate about building solutions that people love, that work well, and are built to grow. |
